PaySecure - a simple new way to use your debit card and PIN online

PaySecure is a payment method that allows you to use your existing debit card and PIN online.  The only difference is that your card and PIN information is entered using your personal computer and mouse.  When shopping at an online merchant that participates in the PaySecure service, you will be presented the option to enter your PIN for the transaction using a graphical PIN pad.  This allows for the secure entry of your PIN online using your mouse instead of entering it into a terminal by physically pushing buttons or touching a screen.  Use of your PIN along with your card secures your debit transaction and authenticates that you are making the purchase, since only you know your PIN.  If you do not wish to enter your PIN, you can proceed with your purchase as "credit", also called signature debit.  This is the same choice you have at the retail point-of-sale when the cashier or terminal prompts you to enter your PIN or sign for the purchase.
